Website issues as of 10.01.12

Posted by on Jan 10, 2012 in Blog | 2 comments

We are pleased to announce that the new website has finally gone live, and although there are a few issues, most of the transition went without a problem. Here are the known issues to date in which we are working on getting fixed. If you can add to the list, then please fire away in the comments below.

- Adverts on the featured slider do not link to the correct pages

- Homepage doesn’t always render correctly on the first load, but renders correctly after a refresh

- Terms of use dropdown box on the contact us page doesn’t expand or collapse is Google Chrome ( does however work in all other browsers )

- Columns in the footer of all pages need updating and lorem ipsum text taking off.

- Button on the function page to complete the online booking form doesn’t direct users to the correct form

The above errors in bold are a problem with the websites code, we are working through it to determine a fix as soon as possible. The other problems are quick wins and we aim to complete these within the next day or so.

Update will follow tomorrow.

Until then, thanks for visiting.

    Hi

Well done on the new site, some comments:-

I can’t see the address or directions of the club anywhere?

There are no tennis or bowling tabs?

Is there going to be the ability for users to log in and be able to add content to their section? If not can I send you something to put on the football page?

Links to our site – can you put links to our web site and our club badge on the home page?

    Cheers

    Paul
